Energy is an important topic in the election because the gasoline price is increasing. Also because we want to better our enviroment, in other words pollution is harming our earth. It is an important issue because we use energy for everything,not just for humans but for technology; and there are different ways to obtain energy. Therefore we need to find a more cleaner, yet efficient way to have energy.
McCain and Obama's energy ideas are quite similar, both sides want to be independent of oil from the middle east. They want new sources to obtain energy, such as wind power, solar power and hydropower. These are cleaner ways of obtaining energy. The only difference of the ideas between the candidates is drilling. McCain is up for drilling, but Obama is not.
However, in my opinion the energy crisis is pretty much an agreement, of what the candidates propone to us. I agree on finding a resourcefull way of energy, without making worst the well being of the world. I know its a tough situation because more than 50% of energyg is used. for instance petroleum, which is then processed to have machines function; which also polutes increasingly. This is affecting the world and it has to change.
